The glorious return of Kevin Campbell’s awesome maps!

You may have noticed that Kevin and I map in very different manners. In addition to our stylistic differences, I use a lot of z-axis in my maps, while Kevin generally sticks to flat dungeon levels.

In this map, Kevin attacked stairs with a vengeance – producing a multi-tiered map with lots of stairs from level to level, room to room, and lots of overlap.

After that initial scan of the walls and doors and stairs, Kevin went nuts with furnishings, negative space filling and his usual level of detail.

Finding that version of the map overwhelming and too busy, he then merged the two different maps together into this awesome one that gives us all the detail of map 13-1 while keeping the clean strong lines and walls of 13-0.
