I post a fair number of small dungeons here, but rarely include the entrance to said. In the past few weeks I’ve drawn a bunch of fairly small (fitting on an index card) single-level dungeons, and realized I should actually include a surface level for at least one of them.
The Daeriun Ruins are the crumbling remains of an ancient elaborate fortress or palace, long destroyed and abandoned and now slowly being submerged by the rising topsoil. In fact, it is only a matter of years before the small river running through the ruins overflows and begins flowing into the underground structures.
This map was drawn in black gel pen on plain white printer paper without a backing grid. It is available here for you to stock on your own blog if you like, under the gentleperson’s agreement that it will be used on your blog or in your personal games, but won’t be used in any other commercial or non-commercial product.
