Did you dig the Geomorph Mapping Project?
Well, Pascal Faeriss did, and he made a bunch of them into hi resolution beauties.
I mean, how do you compare these two?

Geomorph 5e Remixed
For the full set of his geomorphs, (including a bunch of remixes of my own), head on over to his site here: http://simulaccro.over-blog.com/categorie-11285891.html

I prefer the black & white to the texturized ones. Yours are easy to print & reproduce, and just have that “old school” feel to them that I like.
Yeah, no offense to Pascal – he’s done a great job, and this and the ones on his blog look beautiful – but these are not what I’ve been looking for in recent years. The rigid and clean walls, the strict adherence to the 5 foot square… it just doesn’t seem… real.
I prefer a hand-drawn map to a computer generated one any day of the week.
Pascal did good work on his versions, but I prefer the aesthetic of your originals.
Some of his other work is very cool, so thank you for the link!
I find the originals more clear, and all the textures of the digital version are distracting. Also, if ‘drop shadows’ were people I’d stab every one of them in face. I just hate them. Using Tufte’s idea of an information:ink ratio, the original is conveys more data with less ink.
I love both of them! You and Pascal did a great job, and I’m glad that you’ve provided them!
The new ones are neat, but I really prefer the charm and simplicity of your originals.
