As I mentioned in the post about my new Moleskine, the first thing I drew in it was of course a “geomorph”. However, the Moleskine has a 17-square wide grid, so I went with an unusual size for one of my geomorphs – 170 feet by 170 feet. Just drawing this was enough to fall in love with the notebook in question. I never leave home without it in my pocket now.
Unlike my “standard” geomorphs, since this one had an odd number of squares on each facing I went with a single entrance on each face instead of two.

It would not be difficult to work up an order-17 geomorph square with two entrances in each side. Among other arrangements, you could go five solid squares, opening, five more solids, opening, final set of five solids. Hmmm… using X for solid, and O for opening, here are some other possibilities:
XXXXOXXXOXXXOXXXX
XXOXXXOXXXOXXXOXX
XXOXXOXXOXXOXXOXX
