This week’s theme was a bit more traditional for dungeon maps, and a mix of accessibility between the geomorphs. Some had every entrance accessible to every other entrance, while others had no more than 2 entrances in contact. I particularly like the curved halls and stairs to the central gallery in the first one of the second row, and the curved hall and overlapping levels in the last one on the bottom row.

Geomorph Set 2
Excellent stuff as always. Just curious, how long does it take you to draw one of these? Do you do them as straight pen drawings?
Thanks!
All the maps I post are single-draft pen on paper. Each one takes ten to twenty minutes to complete if I just work on it on it’s own. The more “rock” to fill in, the longer it takes to draw.
Beautiful work!
Of course, I’m dying to know– are these geomorphs going to be available as .pdfs? or is this part of a larger project that we (as die-hard map-fans) are going to have a chance to get a hold of?
The goal is to produce a random dungeon mapping book that takes the idea of the random dungeon from the 1e DMG and expands it (I’ve got a bunch of it written out now), and that also occasionally calls for the use of geomorphs in the map to get some ‘weirder’ results (when I was a teen, a friend and I would create mini-maps about this size that would be added to the other person’s dungeon whenever a “special or trap” result was rolled).
Once complete, the whole thing will be a PDF, yes.
Tee hee… Look what I did…

This is excellent stuff. Found this by Rob’s generator.
Very pleased to hear that a PDF is forthcoming considering the current megadungeon love.
